Stanislaw Mlodozeniec (1953)
He studied painting in Warsaw's Academy of Fine Arts, a clear decision for the successor of such family. His father - Jan, was in the mean time one of the fathers of the Polish Posters School. His grandfather - Stanislaw, formed the spirit of modern art in the first decades of the XX century. His brother - Piotr is an outstanding contemporary artist, as well.
However it was the move to New York in 1983, that promted to Stanislaw Mlodozeniec the peak creativity. Inspired by cubism, impressionism and, last but not least, Ecole de Paris, he let the everyday experience to have the decisive influence on his work. His handling of classical materials - oil, crayon, canvas, paper locates him deep into the most valuable tradition of art. He has exhibited individualy worldwide and taken part in multiples collective exhibitions. He is recognized as one of the most important contemporary painters with the polish background.
